ABOUT ME

I'm 47 years old and live with my wife, 2 step children, 2 dogs, 3 cats and a snake :).  I work in the public transport sector and I am a beekeeper  in my spare time.  Well, the time that is left after commuting, dog walking and caravan fixing.

We are on our 3rd caravan, the first an Elddis Typhoon, then a Bailey pageant Bordeux and now the Elddis Liberte 21/6.  The Typhoon really didnt suit our needs, too much bed making and was quite dated.  We found the fixed bed in the Bailey and loved it until I found the window frames rotted through.  Sourcing help from the ukcampsite forums and Wizard's fixed it club, I fixed that one and moved on to the Liberte.  To my horror and predictable build quality of caravans, I have to get this repared too.

There is NOTHING that you cannot fix yourself on a caravan if you have a basic profficiency in DIY.  It doesnt have to be exact or perfect, just fixed to your own level of skill :)
